DO YOU FEEL “USED”?

“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” -Hebrews 6:10 KJV

Have you ever felt used? I mean that feeling when you feel that people (or even God) have just “used” and dumped you? Yea, I know that feeling! I have heard people, especially ministers speak bitterly against those who have “used” them.

First of all, know whom you are serving! Know whom your Employer is! As a Minister, the people that you are serving did not employ you; God employed you, for them. So, know where your reward is supposed to be coming from. In addition, whenever you are praying that God should use you, please understand that He will use you among those who would appreciate your efforts and among the ungrateful ones -just like He serves too!

If what you’re doing is towards the honor of the name of the Lord, or for the wellbeing of other saints; let this register in your mind: YOU CAN NEVER EVER LOSE YOUR REWARD! Your reward is coming!! It is unrighteous and godless to trivialize people’s works; or to refuse to honor them adequately-that is why God fights wicked bosses! He is too righteous to do that, He is a righteous Judge! So, be rest assured, that you’re not doing what ever you are doing in God’s name in vain. Neither are you serving other Believers for nothing! Don’t get mad or resentful at people, trust God! Your reward is coming!
