YOU’RE NOT DOING IT IN VAIN.

WORD & POWER for TODAY

YOU’RE NOT DOING IT IN VAIN

“The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.” -Proverbs 11:6 KJV

I read about a righteous-man who once thought he was wasting his time doing the right things. He thought he was wasting great opportunities to enjoy sinful life! He compared himself with those who had no regard for God, and he concluded that they were better than him. He continued in these thoughts until his eyes were spiritually opened, to see the consequences of sin, and to see the future of sinners! (Psalms 73:1-28)

The Bible says; “where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; But happy is he who keeps the law.” -Proverbs 29:18 NKJV. Those who throw spiritual cautions to the wind are spiritually blind. Because, one cannot truly see fire, yet jump into it. Unless of course, the person has chosen to commit suicide! Those who restrain themselves with God’s word are not stupid. They’re wise, because they’re acting with spiritual knowledge; based on the revelation they have gotten. They know the consequences of being spiritually unrestrained!

So, just in case you are thinking of joining “The-Free-Nation”, think again! Nothing is free, even in Freetown! We will pay for our actions, and inactions! Those who say they’re citizens of “The-Free-Nation” don’t pay Tithes, no one forces them to pray or fast. They do whatever they want! What you expect in the future, and in eternity should determine your present decisions. Righteousness [i.e doing the Kingdom right things] and Transgressions [i.e breaking the Kingdom rules] are both rewarding; it all depends on what you want.

PRAY: Heavenly Father, I thank you, for opening my eyes. From today, I forsake transgressions, I choose righteousness; in Jesus mighty name. Enable me Oh God! To walk in the light of your word, all the days of my life; in Jesus mighty name… Amen
