“For the Lord has redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of one stronger than he.” Jeremiah 31:11 NKJV

Egypt was the strongman, Egypt was the captor of Israel! And the Captor wouldn’t let his captive go free, unless a stronger force is applied! The very character of satan: “… Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms, who made the world as a wilderness and destroyed its cities, who did not open the house of his prisoners?'” Isaiah 14:16‭-‬17 NKJV

But, God delivered them! He delivered Israel from the grip of the one that was too strong for them. Just as He has delivered you too from the power of satan, through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Jesus went to hell, defeated satan and his cohorts; in order to fetch you and I freedom! “Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.” Colossians 2:15 NKJV

Enforce your freedom through constant prayers and obedience to God’s word. Satan is not an enemy you can fight with personal principles, physical strength or intellectual might. The will and strength of the Israelites could not deliver them from Egypt, God had to be involved! For you to enjoy your freedom from satanic oppressions, afflictions, addictions, or the sin that easily besets you; you have to submit yourself to God’s word, believe what is written; and be prayerful! If you are born-again, you are delivered from satan’s domain; he has no more right to rule over you! So, push him back with your obedience to God’s word.
