HONOR GOD WITH YOUR SKILLS

“… Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the Lord.” 1 Chronicles 25:3 KJV

Jeduthun was an unusual Prophet! He wasn’t the regular kind that would either teach or preach, or foretell the mind of God to the people. He did his own prophesyings through the playing of his musical instrument-The harp!

Here is what made him stand out! He wasn’t playing to entertain the people, neither was he doing it to get paid for his special skills. He was just giving thanks to God, and praising Him with his skills. In the course of doing that, messages came from God to the people! So many talented and highly skilled children of God today can’t offer any benefit to God’s Kingdom unless they would get paid. You can tell from the presentation of their skills that they are mere entertainers and not worshippers of God. If people don’t “like” their posts or celebrate them, they quit serving God with their skills. They switch to secularism!

You are supposed to be telling your generation something through your talents. God has a message to deliver to people through you. Do you play drums, keyboards, guitars, or flutes? Are you a great writer, or a fantastic speaker? Even if you draw, paint, or sing. Or you’re an IT genius: _*”Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights …”*_ James 1:17 NKJV. Use your skills and talents in the honor of The Almighty. Thank Him and praise Him with them. Use those special abilities to worship Him, and He will turn you into an Oracle! Halleluyah!

PLEASE, DON’T MISS THE *FIRST FLIGHT!* Rapture will soon happen!

Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior now, if you haven’t. If you backslidded because of sin, re-dedicate your life to Jesus now!

_*”Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”*_ Isaiah 1:18 KJV
