TO BE BETTER, YOU NEED FRANK FRIENDS
_*”As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.”*_ Proverbs 27:17 NKJV
Before sharpening can take place, two must be involved! To sharpen means to make better, to make more effective, to make more productive, to make more efficient. So, if a man must be better through a friend, what becomes of him when he has no friend??
We all need friends, and we need friends who will be sincere enough to be frank with us. Fake friends see everything good in what you do. _*”As iron sharpens iron, So one man sharpens [and influences] another [through discussion].”*_ PROVERBS 27:17 AMP. Do you discuss with your friends? Do you allow them to advice you? Do you remain calm and friendly after your friend rebukes you, or arrogance makes you get mad with them …?
If you must be better, I mean sharper, you need frank friends. People who won’t be scared to tell you when you miss the point. Personally, such friends are the ones I treasure. Do not separate from the people that rebuke you. Do not avoid people who are bold enough to direct you in the right part. If you lose them, be sure of your eventual doom. Friends are like angels that GOD positions around us for success, and efficiency. So, be frank with your friends too. Tell them what they need to know, when they need to know it. If you hide the truth from your friend, you’re not sincere with him. Hold firmly, and passionately, those who positively influence you, and discuss how you can be better with you.
