“They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.” Matthew 25:3‭-‬4 KJV

The analogy that Jesus gave about the virgins point clearly to the fact that chastity and wisdom do not mean the same.

Virginity symbolizes sinlessness. The “vessels” symbolize human bodies. The “lamps” represent the Word of God, which is the light. And the “oil” stand for the Holy Spirit. The lesson here is that living a sinless life is great, but you can miss God if you do not operate under the influence of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the One who keeps us ready and effective. Five virgins trusted in their purity, and their possession of the word. They didn’t make provisions for the Holy Spirit-They missed the groom! Jesus described them as being foolish. The wise virgins made proper room for the Holy Spirit, alongside their purity, and their knowledge of the word of God. Jesus called them wise!

How would you possibly undermine the personality that Jesus told you would represent Him when He was gone, and you wouldn’t be wrong?! The Holy Spirit is perfectly as good as Jesus in your life! A Believer in Jesus can be spiritually blind, insensitive, ineffective, inefficient and not ready for rapture, as long as he or she is without the Holy Spirit. “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.” Romans 8:9 KJV. So, do you have the Holy Spirit living in you? Do you follow His guidance? Are you under His influence and control daily? If not, call for help now… or pray to the Father to send His Spirit into your life! “Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.” Matthew 25:13 KJV.

PLEASE, DON’T MISS THE FIRST FLIGHT! Rapture will soon happen!

Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior now, if you haven’t. If you backslidded because of sin, re-dedicate your life to Jesus now!

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Isaiah 1:18 KJV
