GOD WON’T DELIVER YOU INTO THE HANDS OF YOUR ENEMIES!
“If the Lord had not been on our side when people attacked us, they would have swallowed us alive when their anger flared against us.” Psalms 124:2-3 NIV
Listen carefully to how people express their anger when someone upsets them. They would wish the person fails. They would wish he loses his job, get sick, get demoted, or even just get outrightly destroyed! Hatred and wickedness walk pari passu. David was spiritually smart, when God asked him to choose between Him punishing him for three days due to his error, or allow his enemies to pursue him for three months; David chose the former! He knew how merciless humans can be!
May your enemies not decide your fate! May you not be at the mercy of those who hate you! That is why God doesn’t leave us alone! He knows the level of hatred that wicked people and satan have towards His children. The Psalmist said, if not for the companionship of God with us, the enemies would have swallowed us alive, and utterly consumed us, when their anger flared up against us.
Glory be to God, that we are not spiritual orphans! We are not alone! Halleluyah! I cannot count the spiritual attacks that I escape daily, not to talk of weekly! The other day, I was at a Ministers’ Conference somewhere {during daytime}, then God showed me a trance: a bat was flapping in my room in the house, searching for me to attack! “If the Lord had not been on our side when people attacked us, they would have swallowed us alive when their anger flared against us.” Psalms 124:2-3 NIV. Do not spend another day without God, if you want to live long! “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” Jeremiah 17:9 KJV!
