WORD & POWER for TODAY

GOD IS NOT FAR FROM YOU ANYMORE

“The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.” -Psalms 145:18 NKJV

As a young man, and a young Believer, my heart yearned for God; for God’s help. So, I raised my head, looking towards Heaven, in order to call upon God for help. Then, a strong and invisible hand forcefully bowed my head down, with my chin touching my chest. Then the voice told me firmly: “He’s in you, look inward!” I later learned that, that voice was from my angel.

A lot of us read the Bible a lot, yet we don’t really believe (or understand) what we are reading! If the Holy Spirit is in you, God is no longer far from you! You don’t have to “lift up your eyes towards the hills; from whence your help comes from” anymore! It is not wrong to look towards Heaven when praying; but it is not a must! When Jesus looked towards Heaven as He prayed at the tomb of Lazarus in John 11, He said He did it so that the spectators would know that He came from Heaven! Not as if God wouldn’t have answered Him if He didn’t look up. The Father, whose throne you’re looking up to, has sent His Spirit (the Third-Person-Of-The-Trinity) to live residentially inside you! So that you can get instant and adequate helps; as soon as they’re needed! You’re now God’s address… if the Holy Spirit lives in you!

This understanding will help your confidence when you’re praying. Sometimes, while praying, the forces of darkness might invade your space. Trying to instill fear in you, telling you that you are in trouble; because you have been surrounded by them… and that you are alone with them! Tell them that: greater is He (the Holy Spirit), that is inside you; than he (satan), that is in the world (1John 4:4)! Jesus said: “… I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.” -John 14:16‭-‬17 NKJV. Hallelujah! If you are not filled with the Holy Spirit, seek help right now! Use any of our contact details below for prayer! If you’re filled with the Holy Spirit; be bold, be confident, be thankful, because God is in you!
