YOU WILL ALWAYS BE WRONG, IF YOU DON’T KNOW THE WORD, AND THE SPIRIT

“Jesus said, “You’re way off base, and here’s why: One, you don’t know your Bibles; two, you don’t know how God works.” Mark 12:24‭

The Sadduccees were a religious group among the Jews that did not believe in life after death. They believed they have studied enough, so they could never be wrong. But, the question they asked Jesus exposed their massive ignorance of GOD’s word, and their bankruptcy of spiritual knowledge. They were knowledgable, but they had the wrong education.

You cannot overemphasize the benefits of spiritual knowledge. And, that is why it is wrong for any Christian or Preacher to disregard the Teaching Ministry. I have listened to preachers who downgrade the Teaching Ministry. Because they like performances, you’d hear them arrogantly say “anyone can teach”. So, they push teaching aside and spend more time on performances -prophecies and miracles. Jesus taught a lot, even though He performed numerous miracles? Teach in some churches, everyone including the Pastor will sleep off. Because, they have been wrongly programmed, badly configured. Jesus taught purely for three straight days, and everyone paid rapt attention. Those that chased Him across the sea because of miracle meal were rebuked: “Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.” John 6:27 KJV.

When you meet a Preacher who seeks to give you knowledge, hold him tightly. He has been sent by GOD to you. Jeremiah 3:15 “And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.” Wise people say, don’t give me fish, TEACH ME HOW to fish. The person that teaches you how to fish loves you more than the one who gives you handouts; think about that! Don’t look down on Bible study services of your church. Study the word of GOD for your spiritual growth and stamina. If you dont understand, seek guidance from those who know better than you do. In spiritual matters, ignorance can be costly. You have a lot to know if you must fulfill your divine purposes.
