WORD&POWER for TODAY, Tuesday 11th of Feb., 2020.

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 NKJV

Repeatedly, I have taught that we weren’t just saved for Heaven alone. We have work to do here on earth, and that’s why we weren’t immediately raptured to Heaven after confessing Jesus as Lord. The question is, what work are we here to do?

If we must do any work, we have to take a queue behind the One we are created after. We must look at the rock from which we were carved. What works did Jesus do when He was here? “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” Acts 10:38 NKJV. “Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things you have seen and heard: that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the gospel preached to them.” Luke 7:22 NKJV.

And Jesus said we are supposed to continue these works …and go forward in them; “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” John 14:12 NKJV. Any other work you do to make life comfortable for man is also good, but, their salvation, healing, deliverance from demonic control, and the restoration of their lives must take the lead in our agenda as Believers in Jesus Christ. You must do what Jesus did directly and indirectly (through your support). We were created for these. This is our destiny! That was what GOD had in mind when He was creating us through Jesus Christ. Don’t fail on these. Get up and do these good works, it is not too late yet!
