WHEN JOB WARNED HIS FRIENDS“If you should say, ‘How shall we persecute him?’— Since the root of the matter is found in me, Be afraid of the sword for yourselves; For wrath brings the punishment of the sword, That you may know there is a judgment.” Job 19:28-29 NKJV
Wisdom taught me that critism is so cheap, even fools can generously afford it. Only wise men take time to observe keenly before they draw conclusions on any matter. Have you also wondered, like I am wondering now; ‘why didn’t the friends of Job remember his perfect and holy lifestyle, just the way God saw and testified to satan about him?’ Why have they all come with search lens, and scanning machines, searching for WHY he was going through what he was going through. And I have heard preachers do the same today, about this same Job! Teaching people “WHY JOB SUFFERED WHAT HE SUFFERED”. Heresies can be very subtle, they operate like snakes. They creep into ministries without the Ministers knowing. They always present themselves as “deeper knowledge”, and “powerful revelations”. If you want to do ministry and finish well; be loud when God is loud, and be silent when He is!
Why aren’t Ministers of God getting comfort from fellow Ministers of God today? The answer is simple; the same attitude of Job’s friends! Why aren’t Christians comforting fellow Christians today? The same attitude of Job’s friends!! They are thinking you must have done something wrong to be going through what you’re suffering. Instead of showing compassion, they sit on The Throne-to Judge! Did you know that the friends of Job were not even aware that God had judged them, while they were busy talking nonsense at Job?! They didn’t know they’ve been judged already! Not until God asked them to go and present offerings for forgiveness to Job (Job 42:7-10).
Hi Reader! What have you said or thought about me too [‘Im laughing now]? What have you said about your friends at their back, and probably at their face, when they were going through tough situations? What have you said or thought about those fellows, whose challenges you don’t know the source?! Comfort will be rewarded! Rather than you presuming to know the reason behind the challenges that people are going through. In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, But he who restrains his lips is wise.” Proverbs 10:19 NKJV
