GOOD OR BAD PEOPLE CAN BE KNOWN

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.” Luke 6:45 KJV

People can hide a lot of things in their hearts, but their speeches would always betray them.

If you are a good listener, you would easily know good and bad people through the content of their speeches. “For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.” Luke 6:43‭-‬44 KJV. Just the way trees cannot pretend to bear different fruits, so no one can pretend to have a different character than who he really is, when he speaks. People actually find themselves boasting about who and what they really are when they speak. So pay very keen attention when people are talking.

Even you, mind what you condition your heart to belief. Be careful what information you store away into your heart. Because, in the course of speaking you’d find yourself expressing the very content of your heart. That is why I always encourage Christians to feed a lot on the Word of GOD. Meditate on it, and assimilate what you gained, instead of reading novels and magazines. Movies may be okay for entertainment, but know when they are trying to reprogramme your mind to fit theirs, and stop. “The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom.” Proverbs 10:21 KJV. The lips that are feeding many with wisdom is drawing from the reservoir of knowledge it already has. Choose whom you will like to be by what you store away into your heart.
