UNDERSTANDING THE MISSIONS OF JESUS IN THE WORLD

“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” John 3:17 KJV

You and I need to know the dispensational missions of Jesus in the world. Why did He come the first time, and why is He coming the second time …?

His first mission on earth was, and is, to reconcile the world to GOD. When He did ministry physically here on earth, and presently, are just one dispensation. This dispensation is that of reconciling humans with GOD. He started it, and He handed it over to us to continue on His behalf: “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.” 2 Corinthians 5:18‭-‬20 KJV.

This is not a dispensation of destroying sinners. This is not a dispensation of pointing accusing fingers at people’s sins. GOD knows they are sinners, and the sinners know themselves. How do we get them out of sin, and unite them with GOD? That, should be our prority. Throwing stones at sinners will kill them, it won’t wash their sins away. Our duty as “Lights” is to show them “The Way”! So, let us cooperate with Jesus to do what He wants done in this dispensation. The dispensation of judgement without mercy is coming {you might need to wait for that when He comes again -if you like it}. But for now, let’s bring sinners Home. Let’s embrace the prodigal sons and throw a party that they came home. May GOD help us by His Spirit, in Jesus name. Amen!
