In their days of distress, little did the Israelites know that GOD was listening to what they were saying everyday. A part of them said daily that they would die, either in the hands of their enemies or in the wilderness. While another said they would live and possess the promised land. When GOD responded, He had this to say: “… As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you.” Numbers 14:28 KJV.
Have you heard about the man that suddenly recovered from the Corona Virus lately? The Doctor asked him, “are you a praying man?” He replied ‘yes, I pray …I pray constantly’. In every circumstances, your death or life sentence is in your mouth. Every thing surrounding the Israetes physically spelt death. They had every logical reason to think they really would not make it into the promised land. So, in a way, you could say they were just being practical and not denying the facts. But, their verdicts became a lie and crime because The Almighty GOD was in their midst, and He had helped them several times before then. They should have trusted Him to see them through that phase.
If you focus on what is going on around the world, you will start writing your will, believing you might die this year. But, if you know, believe in, and focus on The Ressurrection and The Life (Jesus Christ), you will know that you are not at the mercy of that virus. Halleluyah! Your life is hidden with Jesus Christ in GOD. Read His words about you: “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” John 11:25-26 KJV. Say what you believe, not what is happening. Do not send the devils message to GOD, tell GOD what you want -that is what will happen! During this global distress, people are still receiving miracles, and making plans for the future, because they know The Truth and The Life, they will outlive that virus. Do not kill yourself with the declaration of death, sustain your life with your mouth. GOD is listening to you!
