RULERS AGAINST THE LORD, AND AGAINST HIS ANOINTED
“The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed …” -Psalms 2:2 NKJV
When we say the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, we are also saying; research what GOD did to those who positioned themselves against Him and His anointeds, and get instructed. Using your influence, capacity, or position to fight divine purposes will put you in the common room of the enemies of GOD. The truth is, you will never win!
There are Church Deacons who use their influence to mobilize the congregation against their Pastor. They should learn from Korah and Abiram, whom the ground swallowed up live, while the whole congregation watched. Some have been financially blessed, they have the money to support GOD’s work, but they want to teach their Pastor “a lesson”. So they deliberately withhold their support in order to frustrate the work. To such characters the Bible says; “He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure.” Psalms 2:4-5 NKJV. GOD looks at them and laughs, ‘how can people be so foolish?!’ His work started before they were born, it would continue even when they’re gone. Eternity will definitely outlive this short-termed earthly life!
If you are wise, you will never choose GOD as an enemy. Decisions against Churches, Ministries, Servants of GOD, GOD’s agenda, and GOD’s children are very delicate. Do not use your influence, platform, resources, position, wealth, power, or intelligence to frustrate any thing or any one that belongs to GOD. The Egyptian midwives had the power to kill every new born Hebrew boy, because the king gave them the right and authority to do so. But, they did otherwise. They kept them alive, because they feared GOD! For that, GOD blessed them, for not obeying their king. He gave them households of theirs as rewards (Please read Exodus 1:15-21). GOD’s blessings are what we need, not His wrath. Be careful whom and what you fight with your influence, power and position.
