RETAIN YOUR FREEDOM, DON’T WALK INTO BONDAGE
“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” Galatians 5:1 KJV
The temptations are always there, begging us to walk out of the freedom that Jesus got for us. Remember, when the devil wanted Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden, he did not tell them that was his plan, he simply gave them options to what GOD made available to them.
We have been set free from sin and demonic control through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. To do a little sin, or little carnal things, can take us back into the devil’s captivity. And please note, he doesn’t release his captives: “That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?” Isaiah 14:17 KJV. Think of it, if you needed Jesus to get free from the devil’s bondage, do you think you can walk out by yourself if you walk into his cage again? Certainly not.
By your faith in Jesus Christ, you’re set free from the devil’s control. “Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” John 8:36 NKJV. Do not walk out of His freedom to step into bondage, again. Pray, fast, sow seeds, pay your tithes, give alms, worship and praise GOD. Submit to the Teachers and spiritual leaders that GOD gave to you. Do things within the confines of the Word of GOD. Do not look for alternatives or shotcuts. Do not join a cult because you want power or fame. Retain your freedom in Jesus Christ. Follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and you will never walk into the devil’s camp again. “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty [emancipation from bondage, true freedom].” 2 Corinthians 3:17 AMP.
