MIRACLES STIMULATE WORSHIP AND PRAISES
“When all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord on the temple, they bowed their faces to the ground on the pavement, and worshiped and praised the Lord, saying: “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever.” II Chronicles 7:3 NKJV
I know, you probably didn’t know this aspect of King Solomon. He too, with his subjects, witnessed the fall of literal fire as they offered their burnt offerings and sacrfices in temple: _*”When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the temple.”*_ II Chronicles 7:1 NKJV.
I wrote few days ago about “The GOD that answers by fire”. I told you He is the God who honors sacrifices! Read the article on our website www.impactcgm.org Today, we are talking about how the manifestation of the supernatural make people bow in worship of God, and would make them lift up their voices in praises of Him.
The Bible says, when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and how the glory of the Lord physically filled the temple like smoke; they bowed! Halleluyah! Sermons without miracles may excite the people, but miracles will bend their knees in worship!
When God sent Moses, He gave him miracles to carry along, not just a message. When Jesus came, he had the same signature as that of The Father. When He healed the paralytic man, people worshipped! _*”Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”*_ Mark 2:12 NKJV. Such should be the reaction of people about your activities.
People will respect your God and your message when they see supernatural occurrences happening around you, or through you. They do not respect you in your office or neighborhood because nothing is peculiar about you! The choir master that is shouting at the people to worship God needs to show them the God to be worshipped first.
Worship is supposed to be by default, when people see miracles. You too might need to pray for miracles to happen in, and through your life, as Peter did: _*”Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”*_ Acts 4:29-30 NKJV. The supernatural is the trademark of our God! Worship and praises get to Him through that!
