JESUS KNOWS THOSE WHO TRULY LOVE HIM“He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” John 14:21 NKJV
Actions, they say, speak louder than words. Many get deceived by people who lie to them that they love them, whereas, they actually don’t. This same attitude is seen in Christians who sing melodious love songs to Jesus, about how much they love Him, yet they actually don’t. Jesus is not measuring our love for Him by how much we tell Him that we love Him, but by what we do with His instructions.
He goes on to say, only those who do what He commands would He reveal Himself to. Not those who are fasting and praying for Him to reveal Himself to them, without doing what He has instructed them to do. Jesus is not a tool you can use to get things done, He is everything you would ever need. To disobey Him is to lose everything! “Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?” Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. HE WHO DOES NOT LOVE ME DOES NOT KEEP MY WORDS; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.” John 14:22-24 NKJV.
Being in love with Jesus is to be in love with His words, by keeping and following every bit of them. He will reveal Himself to you in a mighty way, if you are a word-addict. In fact, fasting and praying to see Him outside His word can expose you to demonic influences, because you’re operating in disobedience. If you want to see Jesus in the most unusual way, make yourself do what He says all the time (whether it is convenient for you or not). If you do so, you would see Him and the Father manifesting themselves to you like you have have never known. Jesus knows His Lovers by what they do with His instructions.
