It is spiritual intelligence for Believers to know their spiritual climate. Know when things are not right around you. When spiritual anomalies are happening, do not explain them with science or logics; deal with them spiritually.
There was famine in Israel for three consecutive years. It could have continued if David didn’t wake up from his slumber to ask God through the Priest “why?” Praying for breakthrough, fasting, and quoting scriptures without knowing what you are dealing with might prolong your stay in that problem. Learn to ask God questions. Say “Father, this pattern I am noticing in my life (family, business, territory, or job) is not consistent with your promise for me, what is happening?” David asked “why?” And God answered him: “Bloody Late King Saul was the cause… he killed the Gibeonites. The people that Israel had sworn by the Lord that they would never kill.”
Stop struggling. I love Christians who listen to God’s voice and obey His instructions; unlike those who just want to bulldoze their way through life-they will get a lot of wounds. David did what he was told to do to solve the problem, and the famine stopped immediately (2 Samuel 21:14)! God gets no gain from your pains. Don’t let your struggles and sufferings continue-stop it now! Submit yourself to spiritual guidance and instructions, you will see how sweet God is. “O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.” -Psalm 34:8 KJV.
