HAVE NO FELLOWSHIP WITH DEMONS
“What am I saying then? That an idol is anything, or what is offered to idols is anything? Rather, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons.” I Corinthians 10:19-20 NKJV
If you attend a party of thugs and thieves, you probably won’t return home with your wallet, jewelries, certain valuables; because they have the character of stealing, killing and destroying. The same way devils operate.
Apostle Paul was saying, what people offer to idols is not an issue, the idols they bow to are also mere images. But, what they do not know as they bow and present their offerings to those idols is that there are demons behind those idols. Demons are destructive agents that are working for satan. Know this now: Whoever collects offerings from you will give you attention to render some services! That is why God visited Solomon immediately after the sacrifice that he offered to Him (1Kings 3:4-5).
As a Christian, don’t give offerings and donations to idol worship. The demons behind those idols will pay you visits, to render some services {namely; to steal, to kill, and to destroy}, in your territory!! Demons are supposed to be cast out of our territories, not to be welcomed at all! Do not give the devil a foothold, he would claim the entire field! If you hire him, he will turn around to become your master! A lot of those idol worshippers go into the streets to even ask people for money, don’t give them! If you do, they will invoke the demons they serve to “bless” you, and to “attend” to you. I believe you now know what those devils will do when they come around you! Stay off idol worship… Have no fellowship with demons!
