GROW IN GRACE, MOVE UP!“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.” 2 Peter 3:18 KJV
If you aren’t leaving earth yet, you must grow spiritually if you will remain relevant on the earth. You cannot afford to remain at the same level you were when you first got converted. You have to be stronger and be spiritually smarter. You cannot keep boasting of your exploits of yesteryears; what are you doing now?!
‘Pastor, how do I grow in grace?’ You might want to ask. First, you need to understand what grace is. Grace is the assistance that GOD gives to humans, such that their inabilities are not noticed. When grace is on you, your inadequacies will not hinder your success! And yet, you can improve on it! You should also grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. That can happen through studying and fellowshipping with Him. You cannot know someone you have not studied or observed. You have to listen to teachings about Jesus. Read about Him… And through prayers, worship and praises, fellowship with Him. Then, you’d know Him better.
That grace you have can increase. What ever help you have being receiving from GOD can increase. You can write better, sing better, preach better, live better, help others better, even serve GOD better. You can obtain fresh graces from GOD through prayers and sacrifices… Just approach Him and ask. You can live a far better life in the New Year! Don’t settle for where you have been. You need to study the word of GOD more. Don’t run around looking for someone to prophesy to you, sit down and study GOD’s Word. Don’t remain a baby. Waiting to be carried around by people. Grow up! There’s more that you can achieve, bigger and better than what you’re doing right now. Grow up!
PRAY: Heavenly Father, I come boldly to your throne oh GOD! Give me more grace to run the race that is ahead of me, and I promise to study your word more, in Jesus name. Amen!
