GOD LOVES YOU NOW, AND FOREVER
_*”The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.”*_ Jeremiah 31:3 NKJV
Nothing is more true than this fact, that GOD loves us with an everlasting love. He has to use this description for us, because the love that men know of among themselves is the most temporary thing you can ever think of.
This is not a love based on “what-will-I-gain?” Or, “do-you-love-me-first?” It is a covenant-based love. Israel as a nation was obstinate, idolatrous, unyielding, and so difficult to guide. Yet, GOD tells them, my love for you is forever! This love doesn’t stop Him from rebuking them when they do wrong. He could even bring other nations to frustrate them, or sell them into slavery for several years. But, that never changed the fact that He loved them, and still had the plans to fulfill His promises concerning them.
You too are loved by GOD, forever! You may not even like yourself, but He loves you! Your friends may not like you, but GOD loves you! You may have stumbled several times, GOD loves you still, and He wants you back on your feet. He is still very much interested in your fulfillment and establishment. He told Israel; _*”Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel! You shall again be adorned with your tambourines, And shall go forth in the dances of those who rejoice.”*_ Jeremiah 31:4 NKJV. You may look confused and so disorganized now my friend, believe me, you are under construction! GOD will make sure you finish well, because He loves you now, and forever! You will be decked with glory, and you will dance with those who celebrate in Jesus name. All these will happen because GOD loves you, with an ever-lasting {ever-enduring} love. Halleluyah!
