ENDURE FOR CHRIST’S SAKE.

“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18 NKJV

There are different reasons that people suffer. One of such is suffering for Christ, and another is suffering for one’s wrong. Part of showing how much we love Jesus Christ is identifying with the pains of the Church, which is the Body of Christ-not joining the world to afflict it. The Church is globally under heavy attacks, both spiritually and materially. If as a Christian, you’re being attacked, do not think something is wrong with you.

When you suffer due to your faith in Christ and the truth, more blessings from GOD rest on you. “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.” Matthew 5:11 NKJV. The glory ahead of you is so powerful you will completely forget your present sorrows, if only you would endure the heat you’re presently going through because of Christ.

So, keep your eyes on Jesus, who “…for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame.” Hebrews 12:2 NKJV. Do not surrender to the pressure that is mounting up against you because of your faith, endure it to the end! “To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.” Revelation 3:21 NKJV. Just make sure that you are not suffering for your sins, but for Christ’s sake.
