WISDOM, KEY TO LONGEVITY
“For through wisdom your days will be many, and years will be added to your life.” -Proverbs 9:11 NIV
It is not everything that you access through prayers; some of these good things are given through right actions. And, long-life, is one of such!
Wisdom teaches us how to prolong our lives on earth. Wisdom also teaches us how to prolong our prosperity, until we can transfer it to our posterity! God never designed short life for good things-sin was the reason for short lives. He wanted pleasures to continue… for ever! “You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” -Psalms 16:11 NKJV. Now, the blessings and pleasures that will last forever are for those who seek and know God’s path. These are open to spiritual knowledge. They are humble and teachable, so God shows them the secrets to eternal values!
“If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you; if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer.” -Proverbs 9:12 NIV. Those who mock at divine rules will labour in vain! They will spend their lives and resources building what will not last! … the Word of God says they’d suffer; because they mocked divine instructions. Do not bluff at spiritual counsels. Everything on this earth as an expiry date! It is through God’s counsel and wisdom that we give eternal strength and value to any thing that we get on this earth. Don’t fizzle away with your works into history! Open your mind and heart to God’s counsel, and you and your works can live-forever!
