WORD&POWER for TODAY 6th of November, 2019.
DON’T MOCK THE WEAK, GOD HANGS AROUND THEM
“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.” Isaiah 40:29 KJV
I am very careful to not mock the weak, or someone that appears to have no might; especially if they serve GOD. Weak people are very unpredictable, because you may be shocked at their next stunt. They have GOD’s attention all the time, because He loves to give help Himself. That is His nature!
Samson is a perfect example here. His enemies thought they had him in their fist. The indestructible man had been captured. Superman was in chains. He had become powerless, as feeble as a leaf. Harmless and toothless. His sacred hair had been cut, and his eyes were gorged out of their sockets. According to them, ‘even if he regains strength, how will he kill us if he cannot see us?’ But they were wrong, very wrong!! They didn’t observe his hair had began to grow again. They didn’t observe his lips when he whispered to his GOD. They didn’t know the voice that inspired him to hold the main pillars that supported the building they were all sitting in. Hallelujah!! Samson was GOD’s Servant. And GOD was around to give him strength whenever He lost it. His enemies didn’t know that about Samson’s GOD. They all perished in one day! And the Bible records he killed more of his enemies that day, than he had killed in his lifetime -when he had his eyes. Don’t joke with GOD!
“But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired.” ISAIAH 40:31 AMP. You too will gain new strength, if your hope is in GOD. You won’t go down as your enemies are expecting. You will attain new and greater heights, by the support of the Most High, because your faith is in Him… And not in your physical abilities. He will be the power under your wings. So that your flights may be effortless and “tire-less”. Don’t look down on the seemingly weak people, GOD is their source of strength, and He will never fail them!
