        DON'T GIVE UP NOW!

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9 KJV

To say the truth, it is tedious to continue to be good to a people or someone who doesn’t seem to recognize or appreciate the good works. To keep doing good when it looks like no one is taking notice is quite discouraging.

Frankly, as Christians, we do not have two kinds of deeds. We only have one, and that is doing good. To change from doing good into doing evil because of negative personalities or negative reactions, is to have been converted by them: “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. BE NOT OVERCOME OF EVIL, BUT OVERCOME EVIL WITH GOOD” Romans 12:19‭-‬21 KJV.

Just as we have seasons of planting and harvesting in the natural; we also have them in the spiritual. You actually might just be near your period of harvest, so don’t get discouraged now! It is sincerely tedious to forge ahead with good deeds among a people who might even be seeking your hurt. If the situation becomes unbearable or life threatening for you, my advice is that you move away. But, don’t pay them back in their coin …lest you get converted by them. GOD is actually the main Rewarder, of both good and evil. Don’t pay or reward yourself. Yes, you might get a momentary satisfaction if you pay them back in their coin; but you will end up looking as wicked as they are. Give room to the faithful Rewarder! Dont forget: “… Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” Romans 12:19 KJV. Keep being good, and keep doing the good works, your reward is no longer far away … don’t give up now!
