DON'T EVER SAY THE LORD DOES NOT CARE

“But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.” Luke 10:40 NKJV

No one delights in humanity and care for them so much as Jesus does. See this: “Then I [Wisdom ie. Jesus] was by him [GOD The Father], as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.” Proverbs 8:30-31 {paraphrased}.

We only think He doesn’t care when our hearts are filled with worries and anxieties instead of His promises. Martha asked Jesus, “dont you care?” Because her heart was cumbered with many things apart from the Words of the Lord. The Apostles said so too when they were confronted by a storm that threatened their lives: “… Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” Mark 4:38 NKJV. Really, how would He not care if they perished?! They were supposed to continue His ministry on earth.

Jesus responded to Martha: “… Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:41‭-‬42 NKJV. You cannot overemphasize the importance of the Word of GOD in your spirit. It will keep you calm and collected in the stormy days. The Word of GOD is also an offence to the devil and his works. Get the Word into your spirit, you will realize how much GOD cares about you. “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” 1 Peter 5:7. Hold nothing back, tell Him everything, and let Him guide you on everything, the peace in your heart will surpass human understanding.
