DO NOT USE YOUR FREEDOM FOR SINFUL PURPOSES

_*”It is absolutely clear that God has called you to a free life. Just make sure that you don’t use this freedom as an excuse to do whatever you want to do and destroy your freedom. Rather, use your freedom to serve one another in love; that’s how freedom grows”*_ Galatians 5:13‭ MSG

Yes, we have been set free, through the blood and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. But we need to understand what we have been set free from. So that we do not return into bondage while we are enjoying our freedom.

The demands of the law was too high and unattainable. Even Moses, who collected the law was the first to “break” EVERYTHING! Jesus has set us free to relate freely with GOD without so many “dos” and “don’ts”. That was why the curtain of the Holy of holiness tore from top to bottom, the very moment Jesus died on the cross. So that everyone, highpriest or not, could approach the Almighty GOD by themselves -through Jesus Christ.

We are free from the power of sin, and satan, through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. However, we should not use our liberty to commit sin. We shouldn’t use our freedom to gratify the desires of the flesh. If we do, we would destroy our freedom. We would find ourselves in the same cage we’ve been set free from. We would entagle ourselves again, in the nets we’ve been liberated from. Let us serve one another with love, and not with fleshy intentions. The flesh is always the door satan (and sin) uses to gain entrance into the life of any Christian. So, be careful. Do not use your freedom for fleshy purposes.
