DO NOT MOCK A LIMPING MAN

“Just as he crossed over Penuel the sun rose on him, and he limped on his hip.” Genesis 32:31 NKJV

Most of the businesses that people do with God are done in the secret; they are concealed from the open! And this is right, because even Jesus advised that it should be so. This knowledge is one major reason I refrain from participating in any discussion that has to do with mocking, judging or condemning people. If I do not know what people tell God when I am not there, how can I possibly judge them accurately??!

Jacob was as fit as a fiddle a night before. He spoke to his family and servants in good health, and in good physical condition. By the next morning, they found him limping, with a dislocated joint! You would not know that he had prayed all night, he had wrestled with an angel of God, and he prevailed! That dislocated joint was God’s endorsement of his power and strength …with men and God! You would think you are seeing a weak man if you see him limping… but behind and around him is a host of Heaven marching gallantly! Prophet Hosea got the revelation well: *”… by his strength he had power with God: yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto him: he found him in Beth-el, and there he spake with us.”* Hosea 12:3-4 KJV. We are not all the same, some people wrestle in the spirit realm… and they win!

You can hardly pray for 15minutes, yet you think you can judge someone who prays all night! You are not serving in any capacity in your church, yet you sit on the bench to judge and condemn “a-Pastor-that-fell-from-grace-after-serving-God-for-fifteen years”. Some people even foolishly mock Preachers who have physical deformities or impediments. It is wrong to do that. Please, be careful when you’re dealing with spiritual matters! The spirit real is very volatile! Never forget what Jesus told Apostle Paul *”my grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.”* 2 Corinthians 12:9 AMP.
