CONTINUE IN THE GOODNESS OF GOD“Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.” Romans 11:22 KJV
Preaching the whole counsel of God is genuine love for souls. There are divine counsels that are very tough to preach, but must be preached and received as part of God’s counsel, regardless of how people choose to take it. One of such counsels is that if we do not continue walking in the goodness of God, we can be removed!
One of the goodnesses of God is the kindness that He has shown towards us to have added us to the body of Christ. He pulled us out of darkness and impending eternal doom into the Kingdom of light and eternal peace with Him. We must not take that for granted! Don’t handle your salvation carelessly. Don’t be carefree with your redemption! Don’t be fooled by the devil that if you ere now, you can always go back to God whenever you choose to return to Him-you may never get that chance!
Stay on course! “Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.” Psalm 2:11 KJV. Do not lose your position in God as a son or daughter! Keep whatever God has given to you… protect it with every thing within you! May He never spew you out of His mouth because of your inconsistency! May He never “cut you off” due to your inability to continue in His goodness! He loves you. Embrace Him forever!
