Have you heard that some people plotted to do you harm? Or that somebody spoke ill of you to another person? Don’t hear such things and say; “well, my hands are clean. I won’t even say anything. I know my God can see their evil plots.” You are so right, God can see a lot of things that He will do nothing about; until someone tells Him to intervene! That’s how prayer works! Someone has to invite Him before He steps in!
When David heard that his bossom-friend Ahithophel had betrayed him by forming an alliance with Absalom his son, who had suddenly become his enemy; David didn’t keep quiet. He didn’t say, “well… God knows what to do to them.” Nooo! David prayed! He told God what he wanted to happen! “… David said, “O Lord, I pray, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness!” -II Samuel 15:31 NKJV. And that’s exactly what happened! Ahithophel’s counsel was turned down, and he ended up committing suicide!
That God allowed you to know about that evil plot is a proof that He wants you to do something about it. If you dreamt and you saw certain familiar faces discussing or planning how to harm you; don’t wake up and say: “wow! I can’t believe this!” Please Pray!! If the faces you saw are innocent, they will be fine, after your prayers. But, if they are guilty of plotting evil against you, their verdict is in your mouth, say something! God has given us the license: “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment YOU SHALL CONDEMN. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.” -Isaiah 54:17 NKJV {Emphasis mine}.
