But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job 23:8-10 NKJV
The Greek word for spirit is πνεῦμα, which is transliterated as “pneuma”; that is breath! Your breath is not visible, just as spirits aren’t. Yet, that your breath isn’t visible doesn’t mean it is not always with you! Actually, if you no longer breathe, you have to be dead! You cannot do without your breath!
Job is expressing his awe for God here! In the front he could not see Him. At the back, he could not perceive Him. When He was doing some work at his left or right side, he could not see God doing the work! Yet, the jobs get done!! There is nothing you do, even if you do it in the closet; that God does not see! I’m wondering, if He paid so much attention to the activities and alms deeds of a devoted, yet unrighteous man like Cornelius. To the point that He sent an angel to go and guide him to Apostle Peter in order for him to get saved with his household; how much attention does God give to us His Children?!
My friend, we relate with God by faith, not through our five natural senses. He is actually closer to us than our very breath. If you’re a Believer in Jesus Christ, and you’re filled with the Holy Spirit. God lives in you! He works through you! He talks through you! He walks by you! … And He watches over you! …Halleluyah! Do not let the situation of the world becloud your mind. YOU ARE NOT ALONE! God is busy with, for, and through you! Glory be to God. Halleluyah!
