BUILDING HOUSES FOR GOD
“So Solomon built the house, and finished it.” -1 Kings 6:14 KJV
Did God stop King David, a man after His heart, from building Him a house? … Yes! God said his hands were too bloody to build such a sacred thing for Him. So, God chose Solomon (David’s son), to build Him that house.
Participating in God’s projects is a rare privilege, do not ever be casual about it. If God counts you among those who should contribute to His work, do it joyfully and quickly too. It is not all efforts or offerings that God accepts. When Jesus heard that a certain centurion had singlehandedly built a synagogue (worship center) for the Jews, He immediately turned towards Him to attend to him (Luke 7:2-10).
Participate in God’s work and projects on earth, there are numerous blessings that they will bring upon you and your loved-ones. Even soul-winning is part of building houses for God, because He would live in those people. Do not be indifferent when your Pastor asks for your contribution to the building projects or mission works. That is God giving you a great opportunity, seize it! You will be massively blessed as you do these.
