PAY-DAY IS COMING, DONT DROP YOUR TOOLS YET.“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” Galatians 6:9 NKJV
Every job has its pay date! Reward has its season! It is not the employee that decides his pay date, it is the employer. So, please, wait! Don’t drop your tools yet.
Service is an opportunity. That you’re needed to attend to any one is a privilege. Seize it whenever it presents itself. Dont push off your opportunities to serve because you feel it is reward time but you have not got any alert yet. That annoying person standing in front of you might be the last person you need to serve in your line of service before the reward comes, do not turn him away! Do not drop the tools until your employer says so. Serving can be tiresome and irritating sometimes. Especially if those you’re serving arent appreciating your efforts. Looking at those you’re serving to reward or celebrate you is wrong. Your gaze should be fixed on the One who employed you!
If you do not faint, if you do not throw in the towel, if you do not drop the plough, if you do not give up, your reward is inevitable. Jesus repeatedly used these words; “… shall by no means lose their reward!” Which connotes that, it is so impossible for you to serve faithful till the end, and not get rewarded: “… let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.” Galatians 6:9-10 NKJV. The only person with the right to stop you from working is your employer, not anyone else, not even you! Keep working if your work is a good one, reward is coming! Pay-day is coming!
