HELP IS AVAILABLE TO BELIEVERS“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’” Isaiah 41:10 NKJV
If GOD did not foresee danger, He would not make such promises to His children. Many years ago, when He told me; “I will be with you, the water will not drown you, and the fire will not consume you’, I jumped in excitement testifying to my brethren in Christ that GOD has assured me of maximum security… instead of getting my mind prepared for what was coming. When the waves started blowing and the fire started burning, He truly kept me as He promised; but I felt I would have performed better in those dark days if I understood why He was strengthening me with such strong words ahead of time.
Yes, Christians have what we call dark days, or evil days, as you might want to call it. “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Ephesians 6:13 KJV. I am still standing today, because He kept and upheld me as He promised! The gospel that says after accepting Jesus as Lord all your problems have ended is a lie! The battle line just got drawn, by you!
The advantage we have is that GOD, The Almighty GOD, is on our side! And He has assured us of strenght and help. He says: “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’” Isaiah 41:10 NKJV. We are not helpless! We are “help-full”. We may look weak, but we are the strongest team on the pitch. People have looked at me and tried to take advantage of my seeming weakness, or obvious vulnerability, but my Invisible and Invincible Helper, The Almighty GOD, turned the table around against them. If you are a Believer in Jesus Christ. You are “help-full”. He is with you, dont panick. He is your GOD! He will strengthen you and help you in times of distress, just call out to Him. He will hold you up! Halleluyah, with His own hands! So, be strong! He is with you now, and forever! Halleluyah!!!
