WISE BELIEVERS COOPERATE WITH THEIR LEADERS

“Thus the sons of Israel did these things; according to all that the Lord had commanded Moses, so they did.” Numbers 1:54 AMP

Always having a different opinion feels great, and it suggests freedom of thoughts; but it is a very sly way that the devil uses to derail people! That’s how he got Adam and Eve out of the garden of Eden! He simply made them see God’s instruction from “another angle”.

God doesn’t operate democracy in His Kingdom. Democracy, according to Abraham Lincoln, is the government of the people, by the people, and for the people! That is great for human politics. But, you cannot bring that into God’s kingdom. The system of government practised in God’s Kingdom is called Theocracy! In this system, God is in charge! Only His counsel stands!!

So, if you belong to a Church or Christian ministry, you must follow, submit to, and cooperate with whoever God has chosen to lead that work! The children of Israel did, according to what God told Moses; not according to what they thought or heard from God by themselves. They followed and obeyed Moses, their leader! Consider this instance; Acts 16:9-10 AMP “… a vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man from [the Roman province of] Macedonia was standing and pleading with him, saying, “come over to Macedonia and help us!” And when he had seen the vision, we (including Luke) tried to go on into Macedonia at once, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.” Think about it. Paul had the dream, he shared with them, and they concluded that God had told (all of them) to go into Macedonia! And, in obedience, they instantly cooperated with Paul to go into Macedonia! That is how a church or a godly ministry should operate! Stop being rebellious. Cooperate with your spiritual leader! Do not follow a leader if you doubt his ability to hear from God!
