SATAN IS NOT AS BIG AS YOU THINK!
“Those who see you will gaze at you, and consider you, saying: “Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms, who made the world as a wilderness and destroyed its cities, who did not open the house of his prisoners?”” -Isaiah 14:16-17 NKJV
First, let us establish the fact that satan is not a man {with flesh and blood}, he is a spirit being, and was an angel (messenger) of God! He persuaded other angels in Heaven to rebel against God, just as He still does today, persuading human beings to rebel against God. This has been his strategy. So, he was cast out of Heaven:“How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations!” -Isaiah 14:12 NKJV
Read verses 16 and 17 of that chapter, you will see how people will look at him with shock and disdain; when they finally see what satan really looks like!! They will not see a huge dragon with tail and horns emitting fire from his mouth and nostrils: all that description is for us to know his characteristics and ugly distructive nature. Satan’s strength over humans is his power of suggestions and persuasions.
Everyone that satan controls submitted his or her will to him, by agreeing with his suggestions and persuasions. When he gives them suggestions to do something, they agree without fighting back steadfastly with God’s word. That’s how he turns them into his slaves and puppets! If you resist satan with God’s Word, he will flee from you! Satan is not that powerful! Neither is he as big as you think! Know God’s Word, and use it when satan comes with his deceitful suggestions.
