PURIFY YOUR HEART, IF YOU WANT TO SEE GOD

“Blessed [anticipating God’s presence, spiritually mature] are the pure in heart [those with integrity, moral courage, and godly character], for they will see God.” Matthew 5:8 AMP

After being saved through Jesus Christ, GOD is not solely responsible for your seeing Him face to face in Heaven, you too have roles to play.

The constant purification of your heart shows that you love GOD deeply. Certainly, He knows that we might fall here or there in our walk with Him; even though they are avoidable. He has made provisions for our return. And that is what we call grace and mercy. The pure in heart are those who crave and pant after Him regardless of their numerous flaws. They wash their garments immediately they discover any spot. “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Hebrews 10:22. The pure water that washes our body after conversion is His word. When the scriptures show us our lapses, we are expected to adjust.

Those with pure hearts are classified as spiritually mature, men of integrity, men with moral courage, men with godly character. These people will see GOD! They are blessed, because their aim is to do what pleases the Father all the time. Understand these words please; “Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, WORK OUT YOUR OWN SALVATION WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:12-13. Don’t fold your arms, expecting GOD to carry you like a baby to Heaven. Work, and walk your way there. Say no to certain persons, when you should. Reject offers that will make you fall from grace. If you make mistakes, apologize, ask for forgiveness, do not justify your faults with Bible verses. To see GOD in the hereafter, your heart must be pure.
