KNOW YOUR POSITION WITH GOD

In the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years specified by the word of the Lord through Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.” Daniel 9:2 NKJV

Unless you understand your present position and status with God, you can never pray effective prayers. Effective prayers are prayers that get results, not just energetic or vigorous prayers -we are talking about result oriented prayers!

Before Daniel threw himself into fervent prayers, supplications and fasting, he understood first of all where they were as a people. And he gained that knowledge through studying. We have so many Christians who do not read or study the Bible these days. Even surfing websites (such as www.impactcgm.org) for Christian articles are not common these days. People just operate based on impulse. Your spiritual position determines what God’s will is for you per time. Someone who is being punished for his wrong should not be asking God for blessings, but for mercy. The very day Daniel started praying answer left Heaven towards him, because he was addressing the right matter!

Know your status with God before you engage Heaven in prayers. That would save you the loss of time and strength in the place of prayers. Studying will open your eyes to what the will of God is for your life. Listen to and read good Bible Teachings. Open your mind to godly counsel and the light of knowledge will flood your heart and mind. “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.” I John 5:14‭-‬15 NKJV
