HOW TO KNOW GENUINE MINISTERS OF CHRIST

“Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.” Matthew 7:17‭-‬20 NKJV

Jesus knew a time like this would come. A time when people would find it difficult to tell whom a true Servant of GOD is. A time when people would be confused, finding it hard to tell between fake ministers and the genuine ones. Jesus actually started this passage with these words; “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?” Matthew 7:15‭-‬16 NKJV.

He said they would come to you! So, whether you know it or not, they exist. We have seen and heard so many in the name of prophecies. Some have made people eat grass. Another one with his entire congregation brought their underwears to the assembly. And they were touching and squeezing their privates while praying, including the “prophet” who stood on the altar. One laid publicly on a lady {on the altar}, with the intention of “praying” for her to receive a miracle. But, the sickening part of the whole thing is that many are fooled by such people. They say “it is a prophetic move”. Forgetting that satan has magic too. He can inspire you once you are outside the Word. Do I mean that Genuine Men of GOD do not make mistakes? No, not at all. GOD is so sincere that He documented the many mistakes of His True Servants. So that we might know, that His True Servants may be imperfect. But, they are not fake!

Jesus said what would guide you in knowing His True messengers are their “fruits”. Their character and the products of their efforts. Not the power they demonstrate. Not the number of demons they cast out in a meeting. Not the accuracy of their prophecies. Not by the wonders they display. But, their fruits. If you read further up to verses 21-23, you would see how Jesus would turn “miracle workers” away from entering into Heaven. Simply because they didn’t do the works within the confines of His instructions. His Word is the will of The Father. Whoever doesn’t operate within the Word of GOD is termed “lawless”. He once told me; “you’re first of all a Christian before you became a Preacher. So, keep my Word as a Christian because you’d be judged with the same Word!” Let the Word of GOD be your guide and you will never be misguided by falsehood.
