WORD&POWER for TODAY
HAVE A "GET-IT-BACK" ATTITUDE THIS YEAR“So he brought back all the goods, and also brought back his brother Lot and his goods, as well as the women and the people.” Genesis 14:16 NKJV
Attitude has a lot to do with why people fail or succeed! Judging by how the scriptures painted Abram until there was a news of his nephew being taken captive. One would think he was a complete gentleman. One who would not want to bother anybody. Remember, he was so timid he couldn’t even introduce his wife as his wife, because of the fear of being killed.
But, on hearing that the enemies invaded the community that his nephew lived in, he heard that they took him along with the captives, and were making away with their belongings …Abram took up arms. He mobilized an army! How do you react when you lose any thing? How do you react when the devil attempts to steal any thing or any one in your custody?? Do you act like; “well… the Lord giveth, the Lord taketh”? Or you turn around immediately saying; “no way! … I’m going to recover my losses!”
Our God is a God of restoration. If you have lost a good job, a business opportunity, good relationships, fantastic ideas, or any thing and any one valuable to you, God expects you to pursue, and to recover them! Pray first that God should help you recover them. Then, take steps! Mobilize, and strategize on how to recover them. Approach! Advance towards your enemies, God will assist you. If you need to apologize in order to recover your blessings, in cases where you were wrong, please do apologize. If you need to fight, then fight! Make sure you bring “back all the goods” as Abram did! You will excel this year!
