GOD, THE JUDGE OF THE CATTLES“And as for you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats.” Ezekiel 34:17 KJV
Whatever position you presently occupy in the Body of Christ is a privilege. And whatever you have that makes you seem different from others is not meant for you to brag over them, but for the benefit of the Body of Christ. “For who maketh thee to differ from another? And what hast thou that thou didst not receive? Now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it? Now ye are full, now ye are rich, ye have reigned as kings without us: and I would to God ye did reign, that we also might reign with you.” 1 Corinthians 4:7-8 KJV.
God is not oblivious of the pains that Christians are getting from fellow Christians. He knows how Pastors treat their fellow Pastors. He can see how Believers maliciously treat their own Brethren. The influence, wealth, and capacity they have are being used as weapons to attack struggling Brethren, instead of supplying these resources for mutual benefit: “And as for my flock, they eat that which ye have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which ye have fouled with your feet. Therefore thus saith the Lord God unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle. Because ye have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till ye have scattered them abroad.” Ezekiel 34:19-21 KJV.
Remember this: “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?” 1 Peter 4:17 KJV. Whatever you are doing on earth are being documented in Heaven, daily! Use your strength, capacity and grace for the benefit of the Body of Christ, not against it. Do not oppress your brethren with what you received from The Father, The Father and Shepherd of all of us! He is watching you.
