“Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth. And I will cause the captives of Judah and the captives of Israel to return, and will rebuild those places as at the first.” Jeremiah 33: 6‭-‬7 NKJV

It is this understanding that makes it hard for me to speak against whoever I know has lived in error. I hardly speak against people; because I don’t know what they tell God when I am not there!

See God promising to heal, give abundant peace and truth, restore and rebuild a people that had provoked Him to anger! He even continued to say; “I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against Me, and I will pardon all their iniquities by which they have sinned and by which they have transgressed against Me.” Jeremiah 33:8 NKJV. So, it becomes very possible for one to be living in the past of someone else. What I mean is, if God has already pardoned someone for the wrongs he had done, and you’re relating with him presently based on his past; you’re living in the past of that person -The past that no longer exists in the mind of God! Believe me, that is “self-imprisonment!”

God doesn’t stop there: “Then it shall be to Me a name of joy, a praise, and an honor before all nations of the earth, who shall hear all the good that I do to them; they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and all the prosperity that I provide for it.” Jeremiah 33:9 NKJV. Halleluyah!!! Please, unless God has spoken to you audibly about finishing with someone, do not ever write anyone off based on what you know they did wrong! The God that we serve forgives, He heals, He restores, He rebuilds, and He prospers those He has forgiven. Live like God!
