“Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the Lord.” Psalms 31:24 NKJV
People have wondered, considering the colossal damage that the Corona Virus has done across the nations of the earth this year (2020). How is it that a lot of Men of GOD didn’t mention this pandemic last year in order to prepare the minds of the Saints for what’s coming? My simple response to that are; number one: Genuine Men of GOD only Prophesy what is revealed to them… they do not “predict the future”. Number two; GOD didn’t tell a lot of them about the impending pandemic, probably because He knew that it would not determine the success or failure of the Saints!
To be frank, before this year, many people have escaped deadlier situations than the virus in their personal lives. But because GOD didn’t show them the gravity of what He delivered them from, they erroneously feel this year is their worst ever. Paradoxically, businesses have folded up in phenomenal numbers, while new ones are amazingly starting! Lives have been lost in thousands, yet new borns are happening daily! Many have lost their loved ones, but some are just beginning to fall in love! Many have lost their jobs, while others are testifying about changing their jobs to better ones! So, clearly, this year is so mixed, such that it is very hard to paint it all black! While others believe it is their worst year, many believe it is their best, ever! The blessings that many people have never recorded or experienced since they were born, are happening to them in this season!
My friend, if your hope is in the Lord and not in what is happening across the globe, He will strengthen your heart. He will help you to go through this very unusual phase. He had said; “For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.” Isaiah 60:2 NKJV. “No king is saved by the multitude of an army; A mighty man is not delivered by great strength. A horse is a vain hope for safety; Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength. Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy, To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in Him, Because we have trusted in His holy name. Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, Just as we hope in You.” Psalms 33:16-22 NKJV. Amen! Halleluyah! So, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. He will see you through this season! Be courageous!!
