WHAT IS YOUR OWN FAVORITE MEAL?
“But He said to them, “I have food to eat of which you do not know.” Therefore the disciples said to one another, “has anyone brought Him anything to eat?” Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.”* John 4:32-34
Jesus said what filled His own stomach with satisfaction and His heart with joy, was to do what He was called to do, and to complete it!
Food will digest and pass out of your system as waste, no matter how delicious and nutritious that meal is. Actually, Jesus used the word “food” figuratively, to describe excitement or satisfaction. Some people get excited with exotic cars! Some, unique architectures. Others, sport! Some others are thrilled with expensive clothings, or wrist-watches, e.t.c! As an individual, what thrills you?!
*”If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.”* Colossians 3:1-2 NKJV. If you belong to the Kingdom of God, the advancement of the Kingdom should thrill you! You should get excited with souls getting saved, and with lives getting blessed! You should rejoice when you see more churches opening. Your satitisfaction and joy should arise from doing God’s work, and completing it! If you do not know what you should be doing for God right now, you should be counselled. Please, speak to a Minister of God to advise you, or pray to God, He will show you!

Gracious God, I appreciate this message. Thank you for showing me what I should really be celebrating! Open my eyes the more to what needs to be done for you, and help me to accomplish them, in Jesus’ name I pray. Amen!
