TRY PRAISE, FOR SEVEN DAYS!
“He who offers a sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving honors Me; and to him who orders his way rightly [who follows the way that I show him], I shall show the salvation of God.” Psalms 50:23 AMP
Have you ever tried praising and thanking God, without asking for anything; at least for one week?! If you have never done it, please, try it this week!! Start a seven days praise and thanksgiving!
Many do not know that praise has the same potency as prayer! God can delibrately show you how powerful He is when you intentionally praise and thank Him for what He has done for you, or for others! Praise can turn a season of adversities into a season of advantages, for you! Praise can turn your spiritual battlefield into your dance floor, suddenly! Humans hardly express genuine and continued gratitude towards God; and they do that to their fellow human beings too! To genuinely and continually say “thank you” to God, and to fellow humans for whatever they have done, is hard for many people. Because, they somehow believe that they deserve the good that they have! That’s why those nine lepers went away, without returning to Jesus to say “THANK YOU”!
This is the reason the Bible says, genuine praise is a sacrifice! Meaning, it costs whoever is doing it something! *”… let us at all times offer up to God a SACRIFICE OF PRAISE which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.”* Hebrews 13:15 AMP (Emphasis, mine). Spend the next seven days to praise and thank God! Even if you feel you have a petition that must be urgently expressed in prayer, present it to God through thanksgiving! *”Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God.”* Philippians 4:6 AMP. Meaning, you should sandwich your petitions with thanksgiving! I see things changing mightily for you within the next few days! Lift up your voice and offer the calves of your lips… THANK GOD! Praise Him for who He is, and thank Him for what He has done. Do this for the next seven days and watch what will happen around you! You will certainly return with your testimonies!!
