WHAT ARE YOU EATING?

“And He said to me, “son of man, feed your belly, and fill your stomach with this scroll that I give you.” So I ate, and it was in my mouth like honey in sweetness.” -Ezekiel 3:3 NKJV

There is a huge pile of garbage, and endless junk that people are feeding on today! The internet is one of the restaurants that provides these free but unhealthy meals! Whatever you are feeding your spirit with apart from God’s Word is unhealthy for you! No matter how fanciful and well-presented that stuff is.

If you are wondering why you seem to not have faith to believe God for certain or any thing, or why you get easily fearful of everything that comes against you; the reason is because you are not listening to or reading God’s undiluted Word often. “… faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” Romans 10:17.

God told Ezekiel to eat the scroll, and he ate it! What are you eating? What are you doing with the Bible on your phone, in your car, on your table in the office? The book is for reading, not for decoration! It is meant to be consumed into your spirit being. It is not possible to be inundated or filled with God’s Word and not have faith! Fire will certainly burn in your bones! When you read or hear about what God has done with the people who simply believed in Him, your faith will rise! Discipline yourself to study God’s word daily. The internet is great; but use it only for your spiritual edification and success in every other area of your life. Do not let it poison your spiritual system! Stop starving your spirit, eat God’s Word!

Father, thank you for your message! From today, I will revere your word more than my natural food. I will feed on your word daily; in Jesus’ name. Amen!
