[3] And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, [4] to design artistic works, to work in gold, in silver, in bronze, [5] in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, and to work in all manner of workmanship.” Exodus 31:1-5 NKJV
There is no one, and no thing, that God has created without a definite purpose to bring Him profit, glory, and pleasure! You are not empty!! And, you are not a mistake!!! *”The Lord has made all for Himself, yes, even the wicked for the day of doom.”* Proverbs 16:4 NKJV
If you are struggling to find your purpose and direction in life, please look inward! Pray that God should help you to discover the latent potentials within you. In the case of Bezalel, God filled him with His Spirit, and enabled him to do excellent and dynamic artworks on gold, silver, bronze, and wood! He could do awesome things with both metallic and wooden materials… What can you do?!
Some people praise themselves for being very versatile [able to do different kinds of things very well], instead of praising the LORD who put those abilities in them. If you are gifted, you should never be stranded! Start calling upon God to help you harness and to utilize your potentials. Pray that He should help you to discover those gifts that He has loaded within you. Throwing of stones brought David from obscurity to limelight… interpretation of dreams brought Joseph out of prison, and enthroned him in a foreign land! What are you filled with? What can you do?? Apostle Paul said: *”Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.”* I Timothy 4:14-15 NKJV.
